False Abuse Reports Trouble Child Welfare Advocates

Child protection experts say false, malicious reports of abuse are not uncommon. Efforts to address the problem face complex challenges.

In some neighborhoods in this city, it’s not uncommon for people to file an allegation of child abuse or neglect to settle a grudge.

In a meeting with City Limits, lawyers and social workers from The Bronx Defenders, which represents parents with child welfare cases in the Bronx, described a string of such cases: a landlord who repeatedly called in child neglect complaints against a tenant whose housing support check wasn’t coming through; a neighbor who

NSW DOCs head charged with domestic abuse

The head of the NSW Department of Family and Community Services has stood down after he was charged with domestic violence.

So he bashed a woman. Now how many families has this hypocrite ruined because of domestic violence where a man hit a woman. This man is a predator. Will they give back all the children he authorised to be taken because of domestic violence? This man will simply get a fine and walk away leaving all the damage he has caused intact.

Jim Moore, 52, was arrested in the early hours of Saturday after police were called to an alleged domestic dispute at a home in Paddington,

Number of abused U.S. children unchanged since 2008

The number of U.S. children who were exposed to violence, crime and abuse in 2011 was essentially unchanged from 2008, according to a new government survey.

Researchers who interviewed 4,503 children and teenagers in 2011 found that two in five children reported being physically assaulted in the previous year, and one in every 10 kids was injured by that abuse.

"The good news is that a lot of people expected things to get worse given the economy was doing so bad," said David Finkelhor, the study's lead author.

"That's the good news but

Family Law Court Orders - Allegations of Family Violence in Family Law Matters

7th May 2013

Dear M/s Rainsford.

Thanks for your email response of mine to the Attorney General.

I do know all that you have written and note you have completely avoided the complaint made about false reports in family law matters and dishonest Officers knowingly condoning or making false reports {against fathers} during case adminisratin.  These are serious and often criminal breaches of Administrative Law you so clearly have avoided answering.

The material to you came out of research by renowned family law

Children’s courts

20.113 As discussed in Chapter 19, the children’s courts of all states and territories have existing powers under child welfare laws to hear a range of applications and make a variety of orders in relation to the care and protection of a child or young person.[142] Some of these orders are very similar to family violence protection orders, such as orders excluding a person from a child’s residence, or limiting a person’s contact with a child.[143]

The Children’s Court of New South Wales, for example, may make an order under s 90A of the Children and Young Persons (Care and

POLICE must be given the power to arrest suspects on the spot to issue them with apprehended domestic violence orders, according to a multi-party report.

A NSW upper house committee has called for the Crimes Act to be toughened to better protect victims of domestic abuse. The committee said the law should allow police to arrest and detain aggressors immediately. It should also allow third parties to apply for orders on behalf of someone who is physically or mentally impaired.

Another one of the 84 recommendations urges the government to allow police ranked sergeants or above to issue

False reports and legally and ‘factless’ baseless RESTRAINING ORDERS

Honorable Members of

The Legislative Assembly of The Northern Territory

Dear Members

And cc Community Members – Who well know what politicians pretend they do not know about the bias against men PAID FOR BY GOVERNMENT OUT OF TAXPAYERS RESOURCES.

Referring to the attached research by Professor Patrick Parkinson on false reports and leally and ‘factless’ baseless RESTRAINING ORDERS.

When we have world’s best legislation do you not wonder just a little why men are being relegated to second class citizens simply by taking up a ‘heterosexual family relationship’ and becoming a father?

Family abuse, as per the family violence bill, and the family court

on Sun, 04/29/2012 - 22:21

Editor Note: The below article appeared recently in the Daily Telegraph, but is oddly naive to the new family violence bill, which is probably only days away from being passed by the federal Senate. This bill, when it becomes law, will re-define family violence to include anything that can be subjectively alleged to have caused harm, without the need of objective proof.

This categorically includes emotional violence, but given that the standard of proof has been significantly lowered, it will also include raising of voices, slamming of phones, using profanity and swearing, delusional
