Social Services Stole My Baby

on Sat, 05/07/2016 - 12:37

Why did they take my Angel?
I don’t know why, but I can make some guesses. I do know that they wanted to take her, at any cost, because they never provided or supported any alternative. The kindest reason I could give would be that that choose to take my Angel because it would cost them to support her being with me. Besides, they could make money by taking her into Care.
There are some things that you should know:
• The Local Authority should make every effort to find a solution before considering adoption because it is, in their own words, the most draconian thing to do
• Social Services Child

Bearing in mind, that there was over 8yrs (2002) when the bastards kidnapped the boys in very traumatic scenes ...with the eldest running away from the dept...unfortunately for them, those boys are now 17 and 14yrs ....and the stories they tell of child protection dept, police dept,  justice dept etc are horrendous...These boys are a total mess.

By all means if you are unfortunate

6 Mistakes I’ve Made as a Foster Parent

on Sat, 10/25/2014 - 08:09
Forums:
If I had the time, I could have written this as, “600 Mistakes I’ve Made as a Foster Parent.” I’ve messed up a lot. However, what keeps me going is knowing the significant need for foster parents — and how much more important that is than my ego. I’ve aimed to be as honest as I can with the foster care home-finding caseworkers and if they think I’m a good foster parent for the kids they are helping, then I’m here. Ask any child welfare professional and they’ll tell you that they aren’t looking for perfect parents, they are looking for ordinary people willing to give foster parenting a try.

Judge reunites young family separated by overzealous social workers

'Baby B' was taken away from his parents after an innocent fall
The parents were accused of neglect by the Nottinghamshire council
Child was taken away from them for nine months and put in a foster home
Now a judge has ruled they were not neglectful
As well as psychological torment, parents also faced with large legal fees

It was the type of accident that could happen to any parent – in a split second, a young baby rolls off the bed and falls to the floor.

For most, the outcome is a few tears and some cuddles, but for one couple

Nine months of hell for couple after baby is taken into care

By Matt Abbott, Chief Reporter

DAD Jack Barnes told of his nine months of hell without his baby girl.

Jack Barnes and his girlfriend Cheryl Rich had their baby taken away in December 2012, just a month after she was born.

Social services feared Jack was violent and posed a real threat to Cheryl and Misty. The couple were also accused of neglect by the council’s social workers.

Thurrock Council was alerted after Cheryl was attacked following an unlicensed cagefight which Jack had taken part in and won. No-one was ever arrested.

When she gave birth in November, social services soon took Misty into

Outrageous: ethicists argue for acceptance of “after-birth abortions”

According to two Australian ethicists, the baby in that photo should be killed if the parents so wish it, in what they call “after-birth abortion”. It’s not infanticide or murder to them. No, it’s just another form of abortion, because newborns aren’t really people yet. And while it sounds crazy and horrific, this unfortunately isn’t something I’m making up.

Alberto Giubilini with Monash University in Melbourne and Francesca Minerva at the Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics at the University of Melbourne write that in “circumstances occur[ing] after birth such that they would have

Foster child dies after concerns - Parents bury baby boy

Standing in front of a tiny white casket, a mother and father hugged each other and reluctantly said goodbye to their baby boy.

Janelle McKenzie and Winston Black buried their 10-month-old son Friday following a funeral service at the reserve hall, located about 40 kilometres north of Prince Albert. Flowers, cards and pictures of Richie Spencer Earl McKenzie-Black sat on a table near the casket at the front of the hall.

Nearby, some of Richie's clothes, blankets and books were spread across another table.

Relinquishment and abjection: a semanalysis of the meaning of losing a baby to adoption

Between 1960 and 1975 more than 38,000 mothers lost babies to adoption in New South Wales, Australia, a pattern which was replicated in other Western societies.

Farrar, Patricia.
Date: 1999
Abstract:

Various theories were proposed for women's exnuptial pregnancies which resulted in their babies being taken for adoption, culminating in the discursive construction of the unmarried mother as 'mad, bad, or stupid'.

Until the 1990s, the voices of women whose babies had been taken for adoption had been silenced by the social order which adoption practices served.

It is through their voices, and

My Baby Stolen by UK Social Services for Adoption

Just feeling bit low as may one year old baby (Baby Stolen By Social Services) was snatched by UK Social Services last Nov and soon to be adopted.

Help for families dealing with Social Services in the United Kingdom

I know my baby was taken from me because I was too scared go into hospital whilst pregnant as I got diabetes when 7 months pregnant.  So Social Services took (Baby Stolen By Social Services) at birth. Had police at bedside days before her birth.

Had severe anxiety due to previous birth especially as baby nearly died. Please. Do something. I'm not scared and strong and determined.
