Becoming a Child Protection officer

I am thinking of applying for this job as then i can make the social workers pay for what they are doing to our family's and take there kids off them ha ha cyfs

Hi Daniel, I think it's commendable that you are considering employment within the child protection workplace.
Be prepared to face an authoritarian regime, they have their buddy system well entrenched in their procedures, the corrupt, arrogant dictatorship beginning its emanation in the ministers office, with the complaints department tribunal and regional managers sharing the privelidge of rank.

More than six months before a two-year-old boy died from head injuries suffered in the home of his elderly foster carer, autorities were directed not to place children under three with the 74-year-old.
The boy, known as Luke, was removed from his drug addicted parents and placed into the home of the elderly carer in Cairns on Christmas Eve, 2008,with three other, older state wards.
On January 12, Luke was rushed to hospital with head trauma. He never woke from his coma and died six days later on January 18.

Luke's Army on Facebook

With the interest generated on facebook we have begun to divide into a group for each state because of the different laws and because of the amount of people offering and asking for help. I have not started all of these groups, there are many behind me now starting their own causes and groups in support. I am guessing there are around 2500 members of Luke's Army groups now, I didn't care if I was the only one,

Jo the reunification team leader at the department of child safety in Cairns You showed em who's boss

I was terrified of sending Luke back to that house, his face was scratched, he had suffered 3rd degree burns and he was always injured with that 74 year old foster carer, not to mention the three older abused children he was crammed in with. On top of that they were all home on school holidays.

Everything I said stright off, as a father, as a failure as a father as the department of child safety would describe me,

My latest letter to my solicitor.

I rang them and they said the coroner will begin to look at Luke' case the second week of January.

I will try to keep this short.

I visited my friend in the mental health ward. I saw a girl get hit. She wanted to leave but was not allowed. She had undergone 9 shock therapy treatments. I felt so sorry for her and as I left I saw the mental health doctor who assessed me while I underwent the voluntary detox programme at atods hospital clinic.
