The department of child safety should be a two edged sword:-

Firstly, they should be helping struggling, disadvantaged and impoverished parents and their children. Every family has problems. They offer minumum services and act out a role as the divine gurus on childrens upbringings. Their vast knowledge is gained predominantly from books used as references by universities. Many do not even have children. They come with the attitude "Their decision is always the best course of action to take." Nobody is infallable.

Secondly,

I head out into the public and hand out leaflets with my sons pic on it. People are starting to say "Is that you, we are so proud of you(other government departments). Someone has to do what you are doing and you are doing such a great job."
Well let me tell you all, I have racked up 4 charges from the police since I started my crusade. I talked to my solicitor this morning and before I even got a chance to say I am not guilty, he told me the charges were a load of crap and we would be contesting them.

I hope people can tell their story to the public, and make people realise that what the media prints is not always gospel. It is so hard to believe that these things are happening that its easy to jump to the conclusion that we, the little people are just sore losers who dont deserve to have their children. I am sure this site will be full of such stories as I have not heard a good word about child safety yet. Once they take your child they do not want to give them back.
