Here is the mailout I just sent out to all the people who are keen to become more involved in Lukes Army. To all the bitches that contributed to the death and abuse of my son, up yours. I promised Luke I would do something. With the members of Luke's Army now reaching into the thousands, I am honoured to be a part of the army I started for my son.
I pray that it will grow and become a place for people to turn to when they are victimised or bullied by this department, or if they need help for their family of any sort.

A SUNSHINE Coast woman claims she lost her child safety job because she refused to sign an affidavit which would have resulted in a child being sent back home and exposed to potential abuse.
Other allegations the whistleblower has levelled against the department of communities' child safety service - in an exclusive interview with the Sunshine Coast Daily - include rampant cronyism among top officials, a revolving door policy towards staff who speak out and officials who act with impunity.
AN INTERVIEW WITH A WITNESS OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING LUKE'S DEATH
Interview with K.G. 12/01/10
Michael: Today Michael is remembering this day exactly one year ago. He would travel from Cooktown to Cairns (4 hours) and back again (4 hours) every week to see Luke for 2 hours, wouldn't he?
KG: Yes he was staying in Cooktown to stay clean.
Michael: You were with him on that day, can you tell me everything you remember happened on that day from the beginning to the end?
I just wanted to firstly say how sorry I am about the loss of your son. I can only try to imagine what you must be going through. So sad and so wrong.
I just wanted to share a moment I had on the Tuesday just gone.
I was at the beach with my 2 and half year old son, we were playing sandcastles and still on my mind was your devastating story. I had been on your website for hours the night before.
I rang them and they said the coroner will begin to look at Luke' case the second week of January.
I will try to keep this short.
I visited my friend in the mental health ward. I saw a girl get hit. She wanted to leave but was not allowed. She had undergone 9 shock therapy treatments. I felt so sorry for her and as I left I saw the mental health doctor who assessed me while I underwent the voluntary detox programme at atods hospital clinic.
Here is a message I received tonight from someone I have not heard from for awhile.
Dear Michael,
Everything happens for a reason. No matter how confusing, misunderstood, upsetting or frustrating. It's not what happens, its how we deal with it. There's a star out there that shines brighter than them all. U cant miss it. It shines over YOU the most. Childhoods end, is a new beginning...
Mick, u really are the most talented artist I have ever known. Express yourself forever. I'm in Townsville painting high rises, Do your run/walk, always knew you would. I'd like to donate bugt dont have ebay.I'll put in your account. I sent your sister in-law Lee a pic of Luke and she cried.
I have never sold my art. I don't expect to complete my trip being funded by donations. I can't use Luke to get money for me. I have to fund the campaign for my son, not use my son's memory to get money.
I will start selling my art as well as playing gigs on the way. I have all the equipment I need. please let me know if you are interested, regards Luke's Dad.
This represents a baby lost in the foster care system. The people who are supposed to be looking after the child are over zealous, therefore overworked. They come with the attitude that they are always right and know better. This comes to them before they even barge into your home.
Foster Carers are up in arms by the way they are treated by this department.
Start at the top I say.
